Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a credit union in Rohnert Park on Saturday, authorities said Sunday. The man, identified as 31-year-old Akili Holmes, a transient, entered Patelco Credit Union on Golf Course Drive around 10 a.m. Saturday and produced a note to a bank teller demanding cash, according to Rohnert Park police. He did not mention having a weapon. Holmes received an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller and fled the bank. Police later found him after releasing information and images of the robbery and receiving tips from members of the public, including one person who reported seeing Holmes around 10 p.m. Saturday in a parking lot on Marlow Road in Santa Rosa. That’s where he was found and detained. He was arrested on robbery and burglary charges and booked into Sonoma County Jail. Catherine Ho is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
